• 1988 - PresentNAW-T-BOY ProductionsAt the young age of 13, the DJ journey began.The year was 1988 and a young Joe Nardi was a guest at a family friend's graduation party. This is where Joe saw local Chicago DJ legend Charlie DiGiovanni from Music Creations mixing on two turntables. This is the night that Joe fell in love with the art of DJing, mesmerized by how someone, without saying a word, could totally command a dance floor.A young shy Joe went up to Charlie and said, "Hey, can you teach me how to do that?" A week later Joe found himself at Charlie's house practicing matching beats.Before you knew it Joe was able to scrape up enough money of his own and got his own set of Technics 1200s.From that day forward music was a part of Joe's life and it hasn't left since.And this would start the common theme where legendary mentors would take Joe under their wing and teach him the skills to keep leveling up his DJ career.
  
• 1989 - 1993Hip House Record StoreAt 15, Joe was working at Chicago's number one DJ specialty shop alongside a legendary DJ crew including DJ Attack, Ricky "Get Down" Garcia, 2 Hype Mike, DJ Sneak, Julio Bishop, and Rippin' Al Rodriguez.
  
• 1993 - 2002Earned a Bachelor's degree in Radio from Columbia College ChicagoThe college years. No leaving town for Joe — he stayed right here in Chicago, where he sharpened his skills in radio, music production, and video. But who are we kidding? Joe was practically teaching half of his classes.This ultimately led to Joe's internship with the legendary Eddie and Jobo Morning Show on B96 — until Eddie and Jobo had to go on a little "vacation" and Joe was swept up by the George and Frankie morning show, comprised of George McFly and Frankie Hollywood Rodriguez.This sharpened Joe's skills of handling fast-paced, never-know-what-was-going-to-happen-next live radio environments.Joe also perfected picking out the best bagels for the team and making a mean morning coffee, which predates the barista craze. If Joe wasn't going to make it at DJing, he could have had a bright future at Starbucks.
  
• 1993B96 Chicago Mixer Search Finalist (Part of the Final 6 DJ Team with Bobby D, Alan "Bad Mixx" Boyd, Russ Harris, Pumpin' Paulie B and Phil K Swift)At the age of just 17, Joe found his DJ career explode when he entered the B96 Chicago Mixer Search. Joe won his semi-final battle bracket at teen club Toto's in Schaumburg, Illinois and then went on to the Finals at the China Club. Even though Joe did not take first place that April 1st, 1993, this was the most pivotal day of Joe's DJ career — opening the doors to what was to come.
  
• 1993 - 2002B96 Guest DJBeing a finalist landed Joe a spot on the Chicago airwaves for a 10-year span, spinning alongside such Chicago DJ legends as Bad Boy Bill, Julian Jumpin' Perez, Tim Spinnin' Schommer, DJ Speed, and Bobby D.
  
• 2001Released the Mix Series After Hours. It’s 5 a.m. "Do you know where your children are?" which became the highest-grossing progressive house CD series of the 2000sThe year was 2001 and progressive house was dominating the clubs and airwaves. Ecstasy was all the rage and the after-hours clubs were more popular than the nightclubs. The most famous of them all was Club XL in Greektown, which wouldn't even open up until the rest of the clubs had closed. For months and months teens and young 20-somethings would pack Club XL from wall to wall.One day a reporter from Channel 7, by the name of Chuck Goudy, decided he was going to uncover the rage of the after-hours. The exposé they produced went undercover to expose the questionable activities of the after-hours club. It included such memorable lines as: the saying used to be, "It's 10 p.m. Do you know where your children are?" but now today things are different. Now the question is, "It's 5 a.m. Do you know where your children are?"This is when Joe sprung into action, always being on the technical cutting edge. Joe quickly digitally recorded all the clips he could find, and a week later the mix that defined Generation X and the upcoming millennials was born. Often called the soundtrack of the 2000s, over 25 years later the mix still receives its praise. While there may be many others who have tried to emulate this mixtape documentary style of mixing, Joe pioneered the sound and the rest is history.
  
• 1993 - 2002Underground Construction Records — The World's #1 Hard House LabelJoe was the second employee at Strictly Hype Recordings, which would soon branch off into Underground Construction Records. This was a new Chicago sound that quickly spread to Los Angeles, Texas, New York, Miami, and then ultimately overseas.It was at Underground Construction where Andy Adams, aka DJ Attack, took Joe under his wing as his little protégé. This is what shaped Joe's musical production talents to the next level. • 2024YouTube viral mix with over 2.6 million listensNew Year's Eve 2024. Joe uploads his live New Year's Eve Disco Revibes Mix with no idea what was to come. In the following week he slowly gathered play after play, and then ultimately hit the viral snowball — a mix that has now been heard on every continent in the world. It's still going strong at 2.6 million plays to date, and it doesn't look like it's stopping any time soon.
